Pastor Bob
THE REVEREND DR. ROBERT MARRONE
was born in Brooklyn, New York, and lived in New Jersey and Pennsylvania before moving to Merrimack, New Hampshire, where he finished high school. In 1982, Bob moved to Keene to attend Keene State College, where he studied art. It was there that he met his wife, Jodi, and they settled down and started a family. With their four children – Lindseigh, Giovanna, Ben, and Joe – they lived in Winchester for many years.

In 2000, Bob answered God’s call to ministry and enrolled at Andover Newton Theological School, where he earned his M. Div. Bob was called to be the pastor of the First Church of Monson, Massachusetts, where he served for 11 years. It was during this time that Bob returned to Andover Newton to pursue his Doctor of Ministry degree, graduating in 2013.
The focus of his doctoral work was the way worship is enhanced by what we see. This fit in with one of Bob’s other loves – art. Bob is an active artist working in various media. You can reach Bob at peterboroughpastor@gmail.com.

Cathy Harvey is our organist, music director and choir director. She has served in similar roles at other churches for 20 years and taught music in schools across the United States for more than 40 years. A strong believer in community service and an advocate for education, Cathy has served on her local school board, budget committee and library board of trustees. She is proud to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and guardian ad litem (GAL) assisting children and families, and to have founded the Chesterfield (NH) Public School Foundation to provide enrichment for students in science, technology, arts and music. She lives in Spofford NH and represents her district in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, where she serves on the Fish and Game Committee. She loves to camp and enjoy other outdoor activities with her family, including husband Michael, four children and eight grandchildren. Other hobbies include quilting and collecting hats and shoes.
Lan DiSciullo is our administrative assistant. She's thrilled to be here to support the needs of UCC, the pastor and church members. She's a long-time happy tenant of the Jaquith House, so several members already know her and her partner John. Prior to Peterborough, NH, she lived and worked in the Boston area; Seattle, WA; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Tokyo, Japan; and New York City.
Carele Mayer directs the Union Tower Ringers, our bell choir. You can reach her by contacting the church office.
Emily Burke is our Sunday School Coordinator. She has been a long time member of the church, and has served in the role of Sunday School Coordinator since 2013. When she is not helping our youth grow in their faith, she teaches middle school English and spends time with her husband and their dog, Buddy. She also enjoys reading and continuing to grow in her own faith and learning. You can contact Emily through the Sunday School email, sundayschool@uccpeterborough.org or by contacting the church office.
