Monday Night Take-Out Resumes 9/20
The Monday Night Community Supper crews are gearing up for the beginning of a new year. We had so hoped to be welcoming our guests, old friends and new, back to Fellowship Hall this fall and to once again be together sharing food and fellowship. However, we have decided that we will begin the season with Take Out Suppers only with the intent to begin serving suppers in the church as soon as it is safe and reasonable to do so. Because Take Out was so well received last year we will most likely continue with that option as well when we open up the dining room. We were so glad that many in our congregation participated last year and that the suppers reached many new friends in the community. It was so much fun to greet you as you came by to pick up your suppers and to be able to share good food and at least a friendly hello every week. We invite others in the congregation to order suppers this fall if you would like to and hope that many will be able to join us at the church when the time comes to gather together again for supper.
Suppers begin on Monday, September 20th. All are welcome to “come” for supper on Monday nights— whether you may need a bit of support stretching the food budget or would like to have someone else cook a meal for you, your family or a friend. Please call the kitchen phone, 924-7821, to order your meals by noon on Friday. Pick up is from 5:30-6:00 on Monday evenings. The menus will be printed on the church website, and will also be on the answering machine message. Each meal includes a main entre, salad or vegetable, bread, and dessert, with variety from week to week. We encourage you to share this information with your friends, family and others in the area. All are welcome “at the table.”
